# Rownd AI (rownd.ai) - LLM-Friendly Site Overview > Rownd AI builds agentic edge AI for drones, UxS platforms, and sensors. Autonomy means knowing the task, the why, and what comes next. ## Company Overview Rownd AI builds local AI software for mission-critical edge environments where cloud dependency is not acceptable. The platform gives small edge devices, drones, UxS platforms, and sensor networks the ability to perceive, reason, coordinate, and act while preserving data sovereignty and operating through disconnected, denied, intermittent, and limited (DDIL) conditions. ## Core Positioning - Agentic edge autonomy for drones, UxS platforms, and sensors - Local inference and decision support without waiting on cloud services - Sovereign and air-gapped deployment options - Tactical data pipelines for field collection, retrieval, and model improvement - Defense, commercial, and industrial deployments where latency, security, and ownership matter ## Important Product Links ### Arc Edge Arc Edge is Rownd's autonomy and edge intelligence product for drones and UxS platforms.
